Terry Sue Powers Obituary

Terry Sue Powers, 52, of Baytown, Texas passed away Friday December 27. She was born February 16, 1961 in Dodge City, Kansas to parents Marvin and Alma Scott. Her family moved to Texas when she was in Jr. High. She graduated from Ross S. Sterling High School in 1979.

Terry enjoyed spending time with friends and family, helping others, but her true passion was spending time with her three granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Marvin and Alma Scott, her grandmother: Ester Scott, uncles: Marlin and Merlin Scott and many good friends and family members.

Terry is survived by her children: Lowell Powers and wife Jamie, Cassie Powers and husband Jason, her granddaughters: Kadince Grothe, Kamryn Grothe, and Riley Powers, her brothers Tony Scott, Bobby Byer and wife Ann, her nieces and nephews Loraine Scott, Tony Scott Jr, Marvin Scott, Brooke Byer, and Evan Byer, and many great friends and relative.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 3, at 4 pm in the Chapel of Crespo and Jirrels Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Terry's life starting at 5 pm with Rev. David Pryor officiating.
