Condolence & Memory Journal

Uncle Herman and Aunt Frankie, as I a always called them, were close friends of my parents for many years. I remember many happy days with them, Randy and Steven as a young child. As an adult I arranged an Ingleside/Baytown reunion for my folks which he attended. He always made me laugh and I will always remember his smile and his kindness to me. Heaven has a wonderful new angel. My condolences to Randy and to Steven's family. Both of your folks were very special people.

Herman Attaway was a favorite and loved Uncle to my Mom (Doris Weatherby Adams) and my twin aunts, Joyce Weatherby Jenkins and Jean Weatherby Brice Buschmann. I always appreciated him sharing stories at the Attaway Reunion in Waco. We are very proud of what he accomplished in his life time. I appreciate his Son, Randy for bringing his Father to Waco so I could learn about my great-grandparents( Herman's parents). Herman and his son, Randy were so thoughtful to pick up my Aunt Joyce so she could attend the Attaway Reunions in Waco. My Mom told me after a Weatherby Wedding in Galvestion, Uncle Herman took all 3 of his nieces out for hamburgers. Herman was an amazing and loving man. A man to admire.

Mr. Attaway was the first member I met when my husband and I joined Goose Creek Country Club. He was always so friendly and charming when I ran into him...at the club or at the bank. I will miss his charming smile.
My thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Attaway's family.

Herman and Frankie were special. We shared many dances and cruises with these two and have missed the good times with them.

Sincerely,
