Betty June Scott (71) of Baytown, Texas passed away Wednesday October 29, 2014. She was born February 26, 1943 in North Bend, Nebraska to parents Myrtle May and William Eldon Orendorff. She was the middle of five children. She went to school in California. She raised her only son Robert (Bobby) Byer in Highlands, Texas. And it was there where she retired with her late husband Marlin Scott. Betty enjoyed spending time with family, especially her two grandchildren Brooke and Evan Byer. she is preceded in death by her husband Marlin Scott, her parents Myrtle and William Orendorff, her two brothers Bob and Bill Orendorff, her sister Alma Scott, and her niece Terry Powers. Betty is survived by her son Bobby Byer and wife Ann, grandchildren Brooke and Evan Byer, sister Irma Davis, nephew Lowell Powers and wife Jamie, nieces Cassie Powers and husband Jason, Tammy Eppler, great nieces Kadince and Kamryn Grothe, Riley Bea and Maci Powers, Emily and Jana Eppler, great nephew Jacob Eppler, and many more family and friends. She was an amazing lady who touched everyone she knew! Word of B!! A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at 5 PM, in the Chapel of Crespo and Jirrels Funeral Home, with Rev. David Pryor officiating.
