Carol Ann Snyder, 62, of Baytown, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2014. She was born October 30, 1951 in Montclair, New Jersey to Robert R. Lazar and Marie Lazar. Carol grew up in the Catholic faith and was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church in Baytown. She was an avid reader, and loved to cook and bake, especially for her loved ones. She had a fondness for dogs and cats and cared deeply for her fur children. Carol had a huge heart and would always seek out opportunities to help others, and would go to great lengths to make sure their needs were met. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, and will be dearly missed.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Marie Lazar. She is survived by her husband, Mike Snyder Sr.; son, Michael Snyder, Jr. and wife, Khristina Snyder; daughte,r Kelly Hanna and husband, Michael Hanna; granddaughters, Hailey Snyder and Claire Hanna; brothers, Robert Lazar and wife, Jill Lazar, and Steven Lazar; many nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends.

Family will receive visitors at Crespo and Jirrels Funeral Home on Thursday, August 7, 2014 beginning at 5:00pm, with a Rosary service beginning at 7:00pm. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, August 8, 2014 in the Chapel of Crespo & Jirrels. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Robert R.
