Dana Sherice Pagel, 42, of Crosby, died at her home on Sunday, March 16, 2014, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born December 18, 1971, in Baytown, to Morris E. Bergeron and Theresa Krolczyk Bergeron. She was a member of First Apostolic Church in Highlands. Dana loved spending time with her best friend and enjoyed family gatherings and her church. Her special interests included photography and caring for her animals.

Preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul and Hilda Krolczyk and Harold and Eleanor Bergeron; Dana is survived by her husband, Chris Pagel; daughter, Trinity Pagel; parents, Randall and Theresa Holland and Morris Bergeron; two brothers, Matt Holland and Daniel Holland; two sisters, Kim Bergeron-Davis and Heather and Jason Calico; and many other nieces, nephews, friends and family.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at First Apostolic Church, 1211 S. Main Street, Highlands,Texas 77562. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at the church, with Brother Tommy Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Crosby. Honoring the family as pallbearers will be Robert, Jason, Jeremy, and Phillip Pagel, Tommy Kincaid, Matt and Daniel Holland and honorary pallbearer, Jason Calico.
