Dwayne H. Smith, age 53, of Baytown, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 22, 2014, in Houston. He was born on July 5, 1960, in Baytown, to Rusty and Marietta Smith. Dwayne worked for Chevron – Phillips for 0ver 30 years. He was an outstanding son and father. Dwayne enjoyed hunting, softball, golf, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Pitsane Smith; son, Matt Smith and wife, Jessica, of St. Louis, MO; daughter, Javonna Roach and husband, Jeremy, of Baytown; mother, Marietta Smith of Baytown; sister, Jana Eastham and husband, Gary, of Frisco, TX; grandchildren, Alexandria Iler, Rylee Smith, and Jaxon Roach; niece, Haley Eastham; and nephew, Drew Eastham. Dwayne was preceded in death by his father, Rusty Smith.
The family will receive friends at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2014. A memorial service will follow immediately at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Crespo & Jirrels, with Pastor Roy Cloudt officiating.
