Johnny "Ringo" Lopez, 41, of Baytown, entered into eternal rest on January 19, 2014. He was born February 18, 1972, to Juan Mercado Lopez and Mary Lou Gomez Lopez in Pahokee, Florida. Johnny moved with his family in 1984 to the Houston and Baytown area. In 1999, he married the love of his life, Rachel Diaz Lopez.

Johnny had worked in chemical plants since 1999. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his motorcycle club, Latin Lords, where he was known as "Latin Lord Ringo." Besides his family, Johnny loved his five dogs, Duke, Chewy, Mimi, Mojo and Taz. For those desiring to make donations, the family has requested that donations be made to the Baytown SPCA in honor of his love for his dogs.

Preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou Lopez and mother-in-law, Connie Corona; Johnny is survived by his wife, Rachel Lopez; son, Juan Manuel Lopez; grandson, J. J. Lopez; father, Juan M. Lopez; brother, Joe Lopez; sisters, Thelma Lopez, and Francis Lopez; and numerous other friends, family, and his Latin Lords brothers.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 23, 2014, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Crespo & Jirrels on Thursday.
