Leonia Maxine Inman entered this world on February 3, 1931, and graduated to heaven on November 9, 2013. She was born to Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Golden, right here in Baytown, Texas. She grew up enjoying all of the benefits of small town living. After marrying Ronald Inman, known to most as "RC" Inman, she worked for many years at Inman Service Company, of which she was the co-founder.

Inman Service Company was a diesel-electric locomotive company based in Baytown, Texas, and later became the second largest privately owned locomotive business in the United States. The company was known for its exemplary service to major industries in the southwestern part of the United States. In addition to assisting RC Inman in the founding of the company, she was very well known to be a devout Christian and outstanding member of the community.

She is survived by two sons, Vinsen Inman and Weldon Inman; two sisters, Ann Redmond and Marie Smith; sister-in-law, Gladys Inman; two grandchildren, Mandilyn Inman and Seth Inman; and numerous nephews and nieces. Leonia Maxine Inman will live in our memories and our hearts forever!

The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2013, with Reverend John McDuff, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
