Minnie Ruth Wright, age 85 of Baytown, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2014. She was born on April 20, 1929, in Emmett, Arkansas, to Albert and Lolita Francis Hood Arnett. Minnie worked for Woolco for its entire existence. She loved crochet and woodworking. Minnie had so much love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Jeanie Budd of Baytown, Joy Ledet and husband Terry of Baton Rouge, LA, and Judy Wright of Baytown; brothers, Mike Arnett and wife Marie of Baytown, and Eugene Arnett and wife Darlene of Palestine, TX; sister, Wanda Jane Ward of Snyder, TX; brother-in-law, James Wright and wife Jean; uncles, Billy Joe Arnett and wife Twyla, and Don Harold Arnett and wife Alice; grandchildren, Spike Budd and wife Nichole, Susan Pequeno and husband David (Bubba), Nikoebi and husband Jonathan, and Ariel Hernandez; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Kendall, Jacob, Haley, Lauren, Liam, Ava, and Jessica; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Charles A "Charlie" Wright, and a sister, Joyce Ann Arnett.
The family will receive friends at Crespo and Jirrels Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Crespo and Jirrels Funeral Home, with Pastor Mark Broussard officiating. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. at Houston National Cemetery. The family would like to thank The Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center of Baytown for their care of Minnie.
