Roxana Loredo Esquivel, age 45, was called home to be with the Lord on May 28, 2014. She was born in Baytown, Texas, where she lived most of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Francisca Loredo. She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Guerrero and husband, Simon, and their three children, Elizabeth, Virginia, and Carolina. She also has her sister, Sonia B. Loredo and brother, Juan N. Loredo, Jr, all of Baytown, Texas. Her lifetime partner in life was Miguel Fonseca, along with her pet dogs, Max and Chita. Roxana is also survived by several aunts and uncles as well as many nieces and nephews.
Roxana will always be remembered as "Mandrina" from many of her God children. She was fond of her nieces and nephews, since she had no children of her own. She never said no when it came to giving to her family and friends. "Tia Roxy" was often her nickname to many who knew her.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday, June 1, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home in Baytown, Texas. A rosary will be prayed immediately at 6:00 p.m., with Deacon Fernando Gonzales and Marie Juarez officiating. Funeral Rites, with the body present, will be held at twelve noon on Monday, June 2, 2014, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, with Deacon Fernando Gonzales officiating.
