Jerome Rocco "Jerry" Tomasello, 69, of Crosby, passed away at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown on Sunday, December 8, 2013. He was born on October 10, 1944, in Newcastle, Pennsylvania, to Emlio James Tomasello and Angelina Foglia Tomasello. Jerry was raised and went to college in Greenville, Pennsylvania where he worked as an Industrial Engineer at Greenville Steel Car until 1978 when he moved his family to the Houston area where he began working as a Manufacturing Engineer at Richmond Tank Car. After years of experience in the manufacturing industry, Jerry became the President and CEO of Fabrication Technologies, Inc.

Jerry was a member of the Crosby Church. He enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be remembered as always having a good word for everyone and being a loyal and loving, dedicated family man. His death will be a great loss to his family and friends as well as many lives he touched.

Jerry built his first boat, made of wood, when he was sixteen years old. He was also an avid water skier and a member of the swim team in college. He had many hobbies in his life but his passion was hot rods. Later he would live his dream of restoring classic cars. Jerry was the President of the Car Club, Blast from the Past Street Machines Texas.

Preceded in death by his parents, Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Toni Hasty Tomasello, of Crosby; sons, James Tomasello, Rick Veado and wife, Shelley; daughters, Gina Tomasello, Tina Dye and husband, Larry, and Brianna West; three grandchildren, Timothy Howard, Vincent Tomasello and Ashley Tomasello; two great grandchildren, Dalton Howard and Logan McCarty; brother, Ronald Tomasello and wife, Judy; sister, Pamela Pratt and husband, Paul.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, December 16, 2013 at Crosby Church 5725 US 90, Crosby, TX 77532.
