Marshall Douglas Williams, 67, of Houston, passed away at The Methodist Hospital in Houston on Saturday, May 8, 2010, surrounded by family and friends and diligently attended by the C. C. U. staff. He was born December 7, 1942, in Mobile, Alabama, to Marshall David Williams and Sabra Elizabeth Wiggins Williams. He was a college graduate with both a bachelor's degree and a law degree. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and later was a Lieutenant in the Baytown Police Department, a fireman, and an attorney-at-law. He was a member of the Goose Creek Masonic Lodge 1192 and Houston Shriners and was a former Worshipful Master. Besides loving his family and pets, he enjoyed working, camping and traveling. A very spiritual man, Mr. Williams will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother-in-law, son-in-law and uncle.

Preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Roy Holloway, Mr. Williams is survived by his wife of thirty-one years, Donna Williams, of Houston; sons, Doug Williams, Jr. and wife, Susan, of Baytown and Mikal Williams, of Kemah; daughters, Michelle Cochran, of Kemah and Andrea Mazzetti, of Baytown; grandchildren, Kody Cochran, Kay Cochran, and Mikal Williams II; great grandchild, Hayden Cochran; brothers, Rusty Williams and wife, Sherry, and Pete Williams and wife, Lynda; sisters, Diane Hart and husband, Thomas, Faye Alexander and husband, Jerry and Peggy Ramsey and husband, Blake; mother-in-law, Patsy Holloway and brother-in-law, Jimmy Holloway; numerous nieces, nephews, and many other loving friends and family members who will miss him.

The family will receive friends at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. in the Chapel of Crespo & Jirrels, with Rev.
